2 EVENTSTwo weeks after BioMarin completed its $4.8 billion acquisition of Amicus Therapeutics, Amicus disclosed in a WARN notice that it will lay off 58 employees at its Princeton, New Jersey headquarters. The cuts, tied to integration and overlap after the acquisition, could affect roughly 11% of Amicus’s workforce based on a Dec. 31, 2025 headcount. The WARN notice lists the layoffs as effective Aug. 7 to Oct. 30, 2026. A BioMarin spokesperson said the reductions reflect organizational alignment following the acquisition.
