CNC Logistics, Inc. closed its Palatine, Illinois facility and laid off 57 workers on Aug. 27, according to a Sept. 23 WARN notice filed under the Illinois WARN Act. The company cited the plant closure as the reason for the workforce reduction. CNC lists additional locations in West Chicago and Greenwood, Illinois, as well as Durham, North Carolina, and Grand Rapids, Michigan, and is an Amazon last-mile provider. CNC did not respond to requests for comment regarding the closure or layoffs.
