2 EVENTSD&H Distributing Company announced it is moving its Midwest distribution hub from Bolingbrook, Illinois, to Whiteland, Indiana, and submitted a WARN notice to Illinois announcing planned layoffs. The WARN, filed July 6, states 68 employees at the Bolingbrook facility will be laid off beginning Sept. 6 when 60 workers are to be let go, with the remaining eight layoffs occurring between Sept. 18 and April 1, 2027. The company said the new Midwest hub in Whiteland will become operational Sept. 8 and that shipping operations and customer pickups at the Bolingbrook hub will end. The Peoria Journal Star sought comment from D&H but did not receive a response.
