GreenWood, Inc.

GreenWood, Inc., a Greenville, South Carolina–headquartered industrial plant maintenance and facility services contractor, filed a WARN notice stating it intends to lay off 28 employees at its Hanover Park, Illinois facility. The permanent reductions are expected to begin as soon as Oct. 4 and continue into late November or early December, and the company cited a lost contract in DuPage County as the reason. The Journal Star attempted to contact GreenWood but did not receive a response. The layoffs are planned rather than described as already completed and affect the Hanover Park location specifically.
