1 EVENTHaas Automation will relocate 73 employees — specifically assemblers, operators and machinists from its Oxnard operations — to a new 2.4/2.5 million-square-foot facility in Henderson, Nevada. The company notified California that those roles will be moved to Nevada by the end of the year and said the notice does not announce layoffs because the affected employees' employment is expected to continue without interruption. The move follows incentives Nevada approved to bring as many as 2,500 jobs over ten years and is presented by Haas as enabling future growth. Haas has about 1,700 employees in Oxnard and describes the Henderson facility as including demo, event and full production areas.
