1 EVENTHavana Harry's in Coral Gables filed a Florida WARN Act notice after extended shutdowns, confirming that 28 of its 77 employees would be permanently laid off in two rounds between Aug. 24 and Aug. 31, 2025. The layoffs followed two separate closures: a June 2025 state health closure over sanitation violations and an Aug. 21, 2025 city-ordered indefinite closure for building-code and permitting issues. Remaining staff were expected to be reassigned to other Centurion Restaurant Group concepts. The WARN notice was signed by Centurion Restaurant Group executive Milciades Pachas and cited the operational toll of the extended shutdown on the restaurant's workforce.
