1 EVENTLifetouch filed a WARN notice announcing the planned closure of its Galion, Ohio production facility, which will permanently eliminate 88 jobs as the site winds down operations. The company said the closure results from its decision to exit the secondary school photography market and scale back manufacturing to match a smaller business. The WARN filing (dated March 3, 2026) stated the first phase of layoffs will begin on June 5, 2026, production activity will end by October 30, 2026, and final separations are scheduled for December 24, 2026. Affected roles include machine operators, production technicians, supervisors, managers, IT support staff, and warehouse associates; Lifetouch will offer separation pay (for eligible workers), career workshops through Randstad RiseSmart, outplacement for some managers, and access to its Employee Assistance Program.
