1 EVENTS&C Corp, a Bridgewater, Massachusetts last-mile delivery company, officially ended operations on July 15, 2025 and laid off all of its workers. Company president Autumn Pettit notified the state's Executive Office of Labor and Workforce Development and filed a public WARN notice; employees were notified on June 15 ahead of the July 15 closure. Pettit wrote that S&C Corp laid off all 63 of its delivery drivers prior to the shutdown, with all layoffs expected to be permanent and no bumping rights granted. The company was located at 1025 Elm St. in Bridgewater before closing, and the WARN filing met the threshold for a mass layoff notification.
