1 EVENTMyers Industries announced it intends to permanently close the two Trilogy Plastics rotational molding plants in Alliance, Ohio, and filed a WARN notice indicating most Trilogy jobs will be eliminated between Sept. 30 and Oct. 14, with remaining positions phased out as operations wind down through the end of 2025. The facilities employ 153 people currently, and the notice states there will be no bumping, transfer, union representation, or recall rights for affected employees. Myers said production will be consolidated into other Myers locations to align operations and realize at least $3 million in annualized savings as part of broader cost-saving efforts. City and county officials were notified; local leaders expressed concern but said economic development efforts will seek replacement tenants for the industrial park.
