Summary
Nob Hill Foods reported to the California Employment Development Department that it will close its market at 1250 Grant Road in Mountain View, eliminating 50 jobs. The shutdown was scheduled for June (year implied by context), and the closure is presented as a permanent store closure. The article also notes Nob Hill Foods is closing a Los Gatos store effective June 2027, though job losses for that location were not specified. Raley’s, the parent company/owner of the Nob Hill Foods brand, framed store closings as part of broader local-market and financial considerations and said it is focusing on supporting affected team members and communities.
