Optum Services to eliminate 36 roles at Basking Ridge office amid relocation

Optum Services, the UnitedHealth Group health services unit, is cutting 36 jobs at its Basking Ridge, New Jersey office as part of a 58-role reduction across three Optum business units tied to an office relocation. The WARN Act filings dated June indicate the reductions take effect August 26. Optum said the move is a relocation rather than an exit from New Jersey and that affected employees will be offered job placement support and redeployment to other open roles.
