PA Potato Chip Manufacturing LLC Layoff

PA Potato Chip Manufacturing LLC has filed a WARN notice saying it intends to permanently close its Snyder of Berlin plant, resulting in a total closure that will affect all employees at the Berlin facility. The notice states the majority of the plant’s 96 employees will lose their jobs on Feb. 13, 2026, while six employees will remain temporarily to assist with shutdown and cleanup and be terminated on later dates in 2026. The closure is described as expected to be permanent and was filed with the state Department of Labor and Industry on Dec. 3. Local officials and state representatives are seeking alternatives to preserve jobs or attract a new employer, and the plant’s owner, Our Home Corp., was contacted for comment.
