Sanofi to cut 229 Blueprint Medicines roles in Massachusetts during integration

Sanofi will lay off 229 employees from acquired Blueprint Medicines in Massachusetts as part of a post-acquisition integration program about a year after completing the $9.1 billion takeover. The reductions, disclosed in a Massachusetts WARN filing, are scheduled to occur between October 2026 and June 2027 and will coincide with the closure of two former Blueprint sites in Cambridge and consolidation to Sanofi’s Cambridge Crossing campus.
