Thermo Fisher to eliminate ~70 positions at Middleton bioanalytical lab

Thermo Fisher Scientific confirmed it will eliminate about 70 positions at its Middleton, Wisconsin facility as it consolidates U.S. bioanalytical laboratory operations into its Richmond, Virginia site. The company said affected Middleton positions related to those operations will be phased out through 2026 while some impacted employees will transfer to expanding Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) laboratory operations in Middleton.
